Starting from being the head boy at school, completing basic medical degree in India inspired by great teachers, Dr Allwin went to the UK to pursue a surgical career. After completing basic and higher surgical training (BST and HST) in the UK mostly in various teaching hospitals in London, Dr Allwin got a good breadth and depth of Plastic and Reconstructive training before entering into the specialist register of the GMC, UK. His higher surgical training in plastic surgery involved all subspecialities of Plastic Surgery but with special interest in Reconstructive Microsurgery (Hand, Breast, vulva & Female Perineum) and Cosmetic Surgery. Dr Allwin gained valuable experience in Cosmetic Surgery by attending operations in private hospitals in and around London after completing his exit exam and further refined his approach and surgical techniques by training under some of the pioneers and leading surgeons in Cosmetic-Plastic Surgery in the world in Rio De Janeiro, Taipei, Mumbai and Tokyo. Starting as a Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon in a teaching Hospital in London, Dr Allwin developed his Cosmetic practice in London in the areas of Breast surgery, Rhinoplasty, face lifts, Liposuction, Labiaplasty, Abdominoplasty, Mommy Makeover, Body contouring and Non-surgical Vulvo-Vaginal Procedures. After having done many thousands of Cosmetic Surgical Procedures in the private practice in London and accumulating valuable experience in assessment of patients, advising safe surgical techniques, outcome prediction, case selection, patient safety and managing medico-legal aspects for the benefit of patients as well as their surgeons, Dr G (as he is popularly called in London Royal & social circles), started training and teaching globally.

With special training and interest in Female Cosmetic Surgeries, for his contributions into FCGS and female specific cosmetic surgeries and procedures, for his relentless spirit to provide the British women with best in class services, Dr Allwin Gnanajebamani has been conferred with the title of President of the London College of Cosmetic Gynaecology. Dr. G. is a much in demand invited speaker and trainer globally but available very occasionally owing to his extremely busy commitments in U.K. Dr. G. shall be teaching and training in India exclusively with Indian College of Cosmetic Gynecology as he believes in working only with the best in the field. Also, he takes his social responsibilities seriously and had an opportunity to lead 5 charity operating visits with his team to Sri Lanka and hoping to go to Africa and other regions as opportunities arise in future.
